Ruven is the musical avatar of artist, songwriter, and producer Brian Parker. Doused in the same mythical Virginia waters as The Neptunes and Missy Elliott, Ruven combines sharp lyricism, slick grooves, and surreal visuals to build a dystopian pop universe.
Ruven's latest NOT THE FUTURE EP delves into the themes of social media addiction, disillusionment, and virtual selfhood but with a soulful, upbeat sound that surprises—a lean offering for the present-day pangs of future shock.
