Ruven’s “dystopian pop” music explores social media addiction, virtual selfhood, and ecological fragility through the voices of speculative alter-egos.

His solo releases can be found here

Known on Earth as Brian Parker, Ruven first trained at Shenandoah Conservatory, before graduating from the Clive Davis Institute at NYU, songwriting in sessions for Epic Records, and venturing for a year to Chile on a Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship in musicology.

As a songwriter and producer, he has contributed to releases by Geeta TV, Colby Cecca, Afriqua, and mjwilkin. As a composer, he has composed for ads by Nike Jordan, SoFi, and Sephora, and has been commissioned to create original pieces for the Irvington Film Fest in New York, the Tap In live meditation app, and for SFMOMA’s digital magazine Open Space.
